(p)AIN'T about being precise.

As you probably already know by now, I really enjoy creating things.

Growing up my dad would sometimes draw small pictures and give them to me. He's just a man of many talents I suppose. My mom would also dabble in painting every once in a while, so I guess you can say I got my creative gene from them. :) Thanks parents.

There's just something so fascinating about creating a piece of artwork. Starting with an idea, to a sketch, to frustration when things just aren't looking the way I want them to look, to relaxing, and then finally to the finished piece. I love it.

I started getting into drawing when I was in middle school, mostly drawing pictures I found on the internet to decorate my room bc we were poor and couldn't afford fancy decorations. I ended up taking a break from drawing and painting (the reason? i have no idea lol) up until freshmen year when I had to take an art class. It was Painting 1 with Mr.K, I didn't really like that class mostly because I didn't like having so many parameters. As you'll learn, I don't like being told what to do. It's the leo in me. haha. Anyways, I got back into painting sometime during senior year, and recently with the COVID-19 quarantine I've had a lot of time to paint.

Which is why I now know that I LOVE PAINTING BRO!

(I thought that would be funny but now i'm just looking at it like -_- no shit stupid) Also ~side note~ you're lucky I like taking pics and that I have an attachment to every material thing I own, otherwise you wouldn't know about how bad I used to be. Not that i'm super good now, but I have improved a little.
